Happy Birthday To You!

Happy birthday Mama Jutta! In May we had a birthday party for Mama Jutta with Paulo and Lisa. All children were very happy to sing and have fun together.

Communion Treats

Also we give a big thanks and congratulations to Chiara and Elia for their contribution of treats at the communion. Thank you Katia for your help in making this Card.

First Communion Celebration

The children were invited to a First Communion party in May by Mama Francesca and Baba Carlo. Their children Leonardo and Serena were amongst the children that made their first Communion. The children had a wonderful day playing with other children as well as having lunch, sodas and playing on the trampoline. They were all very well behaved.

The rains have arrived!

Malaika is looking very green after all the recent rain. There is plenty of grass for the cows and the shamba is flourishing. The rain was very welcome so that the vegetables could grow enabling Malaika to become self-sufficient. The maize will be picked in August. This season will ensure a very good crop.

Visit No. 4 from Mama Sue!

Mama Sue from Australia has come back to Malaika for her 4th visit. Earlier this month, she and Winnie visited Godbless at his school. Godbless is doing very well and is looking forward to visiting the children at Malaika in the near future.

Fun and Facepaints!

The children at Malaika were recently treated to a fun afternoon at the Blue Heron. They were throughouly entertained by the clown who painted their faces and showed them lots of balloon tricks! Thank you Mama Jutta!!
